I provide consulting support for users of the Microsoft Windows operating system. This includes troubleshooting, installation, and configuration issues on a variety of Windows versions. I am also able to provide help with hardware issues on PCs. I have trained users to help them learn how to use their desktop and application software. Issues related to applications such as e-mail, word processing, financial and spreadsheets are often addressed. Troubleshooting Windows issues can be arranged for in-person or via remote access.
Project help is also available for database, mail merge, and compatibility problems. One popular project is mail merge for Holiday cards postal mailing.
Small office and home networking issues, including Wi-Fi, are also a part of the consulting help that I provide. I have set up simple peer-to-peer networks and configured Internet access through local ISPs. I also have set up more business-class networks using Microsoft's server products.
